POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
ENROLLMENT POLICY
A
parent-director meeting is required for all first time enrollees prior to
official enrollment.
OPEN DOOR POLICY
Parents
of children enrolled in
ARRIVAL / DISMISSAL
Children
should be accompanied to and picked up from their classrooms by a parent or
other authorized adult. Please be aware
of arrival and dismissal times.
HEALTH
Every
child must have a medical form on file.
A child with a contagious illness must stay home for 24 hours after the
start of medication. The staff will
administer medication, if a medication permission form is signed by a
parent. Prescription medication must be
in the original container marked with the child’s name and dosage. Children
with a medical condition requiring Epinephrine or an inhaler must have a waiver
signed by a parent in their file.
ABSENCES
Please
notify us in the morning if your child will be absent. We cannot permit make-up sessions for missed days
of school.
PARKING AND TRAFFIC FLOW
Please
adhere to the traffic flow pattern as marked.
Cars should be properly parked with ignitions turned off when you are in
school. We strongly recommend that you
hold your child by the hand whenever in the parking lot.
CLOTHING
Each
child has a cubicle with his/her name on it.
It benefits the children as well as the staff if each child can handle
his/her own clothing with minimum assistance.
All outerwear should be labeled with the child’s name. An extra set of clothing should be at the
school for each child in the event of accidents.
SNACKS
A
snack will be provided during the morning and afternoon sessions. Children may
bring in a snack to share with the rest of the class if they wish.
BIRTHDAYS
We encourage the children to bring in a special snack on their birthdays to share their celebrations with friends in school.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Occasionally
snow, sleet, etc., make driving hazardous in the morning. In this event, school
will be closed and each family will be notified by telephone. We coordinate
with the
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
Conferences
are normally scheduled in early spring. If the need arises at any time of the
year for a conference one can be scheduled. Your calls are always welcomed.
REFUND POLICY
Registration
fees and security deposits are non-refundable.
No refunds or
time adjustments can be made for illness, holidays, vacations, inclement
weather school closings or early withdrawal In the event of early withdrawal,
the security deposit will be applied to the last month of attendance if written
notice is received (30) days prior to withdrawal. Early withdrawal pertains to
the time period from the date on your registration form, to the last day of May
of the school year designated on the registration form. There are no exceptions
to this policy. If early withdrawal takes place before school starts, the security
deposit can be applied to September.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
A non-refundable registration fee of $125.00 and a non-refundable one month security payment must accompany all registrations. This payment represents June tuition, or the last month of enrollment (see above). You will receive a computerized billing prior to the due date of all tuition monies. Tuition may be paid monthly or in three installments due September 1, December 1 and March 1, not including the June security payment. A $30.00 late fee will be charged on any returned check. Tuition 30 days past due will be charged a $50.00 late fee. Any account that goes into collection will be charged for past due tuition plus the collection fee.
DISCOUNT
There
is a 10% tuition discount for the second child in a family.
Early
delinquency
or the inability of a child or parent to adjust to the school program or
policies.
